Violence at Work Like You’ve Never Seen It

titlepost

Today I was in a one-day training in my company, and for once they had a good idea to prevent people from falling asleep during the different sessions: provide them toys to play with. It was certainly fun and I recreated this little scene I would call Farm animals vs Aliens. Pictures inside. Beware, these are ultraviolent pictures, stuff you haven’t seen since the Clockwork Orange days.

This had nothing to do with the training by the way. The trainer simply mentioned that they found people were more active in training if they have something to play with in their hands. Never thought about it seriously, but I kind of agree with the idea now. I could manage to stay focused throughout the day, awake, while focusing on building the following scene. Yeah, this has nothing to do with the Pandora, so bear with me. Everyone needs a break sometimes. You deserve one too. Go grab a drink.

Anyway, the toys were a mix of farm animals and aliens (!) with flexible legs and arms. It didn’t take me too long to figure out some kind of stupid idea. I started with the dog grabbing a green alien… and this is where the whole fight scene began, the dog grabbing the alien while the cat had a go at punching the green man.

Notice the cow in the back, watching peacefully the scene in a relaxed position, crushing another green scum under her weight.

Then it came to the rabbit, wrestling an alien to the ground, carrot in hand, while another dog beats down the alien by kicking his face hard.

The monkey, the mastermind behind this operation, is watching closely as the gang attacks.

Here’s the whole scene with added characters in the bottom, a cat cheering hands above him, and another cow lying down on the ground, enjoying the entertainment.

So there you have it. A very productive day!

I love these toys. Is there any chance you could find out how they are called? I would like to buy them…
