As you may have heard, the Pyra‘s prototype CPU board could not be completed on time for the Gamescom, but there’s still the devboard available at the show as well as the case and the other hardware that is already finalized. Evil Dragon too this opportunity to prepare a little video for those who could not be at the show.
The Pyra devboard (OMAP5) was connected to a Full HD screen and was running several applications in parallel, including some Windows software running via Exagear. One new information released in the video is that the battery is apparently 6000 mAh now, not 4200 mAh anymore as originally discussed. Looks like ED managed to make enough space to fit a bigger version.
Here are a couple more pictures from the booth. There’s PtitSeb right there at the back!
And here is a picture of what was running on the Pyra devboard.
I will add more info later in this post as it becomes available.
